Most problems in our lives arise from our thoughts, words and actions. No matter who we are or what we think about ourselves, these three shape our lives and destinies.
Sometimes we lose sight of what’s really important in life. We get wrapped up in our work and let everything else suffer. The people we care about most are the ones who are forgotten.
“Though we travel the world over to find the beautiful, we must carry it with us or we find it not” – Ralph Waldo Emerson
Beauty of life differs from person to person. For some people, the beauty lies in the accomplishment of their goals. For others, being loved and cherished by their loved ones makes life beautiful. Some have devote their life to raising the life of others.
Crossroads simply means a decision point; a turning point or opportunity to change direction, course, or goal. It is a place of decision, that will affect the course of one’s life.
In today’s rush, we all think too much, seek too much, want too much and forget about the joy of just being” – Eckhart Tolle
Living intentionally is an art. We can learn to create a life we love; a life that is full of peace and true joy.
Do you want your world wrapped in predictability?
Have you ever felt like, you need all the information, or solutions, as regards the future?
Sometimes, you may think:
What’s the point in living, when you feel unloved, unwanted, and you think you’re a burden to yourself, and those around you?
Some people lack joy for no good reason. Unhappiness can pop up in different, hidden, unsuspecting forms.
Here are some reasons you may be unhappy, and suggestions on how to combat them:
Most of the time, when we get upset with what is happening in our life, especially when things don’t go as planned, we begin to lose faith in ourselves, forgetting that what is lying around the corner, might be the best for us, even if it doesn’t seem that way. You just have to trust in the process.
When you have to deal with negative, unexpected change, it does get scary.
Because there is always something to lose, or something to let go. Things can’t always remain the same. You should have this in mind. We need to learn to accept change. Some people do handle, or appear to handle change better than others.

Escaping Depression through Art
Many people tend to express their emotions through different kinds of art. I have a difficulty to find the right words many times, while I can easily take some pictures.
The most important life lesson we will ever learn, will be from the bad decisions we make. However, those bad decisions present us with the perfect opportunity to improve ourselves.
The two hardest tests on the road to transformation, are the patience to wait for the right moment, and the courage not to be disappointed with what we encounter.
We do not see things ‘the way they are‘, we see things ‘the way we are‘.
Most people put too much pressure on themselves, in relation to the future, when all that truly matters most is the ‘NOW.’
A toxic behaviour is one that is harmful. I wrote about it HERE. Many people who exhibit toxic traits are oblivious to their own behaviours.
In today’s world, a large part of the society expects people to be flawless creatures. There is so much pressure, and people are trying so hard to appear perfect. This has led to so many people becoming even more anxious, stressed, and unhappy with their lives.
The darkest nights are when the stars shine brighter.
Almost everyone has faced difficulty we know nothing about. Pain (very unpleasant circumstances) can be a great motivator for people to change. Some people never change until they feel a little pain. Something in their life must be uncomfortable, or unacceptable, before they will consider doing something new, unfamiliar or different.
It doesn’t matter how large or small, make an effort to appreciate the things you have accomplished. It shouldn’t end with simply crossing it out from your to-do list.
When we feel darkness all around, when things go worse, and nothing seems to work for us, there is one thing that keep us going; HOPE.
“Everything has beauty, but not everyone sees it” – Confucius
There is an unbelievable amount of beauty in our everyday lives, and the things around us, even in stuff you probably wouldn’t give a second glance.
Is that normal?
The concept of ‘normal,’ and what counts as ‘normal behaviour,’ has long been of interest to sociologists. Sociologists have very different approaches to answering the basic, but fundamental question, ‘what is normal‘?
“Winning isn’t getting ahead of others. It is getting ahead of yourself” – Roger Staubach
Are some people born blessed, destined to be winners, whereas others are born, destined to stay as losers, no matter how hard they try? Continue reading “Is everybody born a winner?”
Occasionally, we have doubts about ourselves. These doubts are capable of affecting every facet of our lives, including our health. Low self-esteem leave you feeling sad and insecure.
We all grow up in different situations. Some grow up in toxic environments, while others grow up in healthy situations. Regardless of your experience growing up, no matter how sweet or bitter, there comes a point in your life, when you will decide how you will respond to circumstances/challenges.
What a pleasure it is to read.
Walking into a bookshop may seem magical to some people. To see the shelves neatly lined with books, is like staring at the wonders of the world, all in one place.
Most people have this twisted idea that they don’t deserve or are not worthy of happiness. They may have guilt about their past, and feel they should be punished severely.
We all get the same amount of time each day. But you can make more of the time you have. Continue reading “Five minutes ideas- Some things you could do in just 5 minutes”
I want you to ask yourself this question:
“What effect do I usually have on others, after an encounter with them?”
We often do things that we do not notice, and hurt other people in minor or little ways, that they may react to differently. Continue reading “Examine The Effect You Had On Others Today!”
Happiness is not only the absence of unhappiness. It is also an affirmation that you’re in a good state of mind.
The quality of your mind, determines the quality of your life. Whatever goes on in your mind can make you either happy or miserable.
Life is about building yourself. Don’t change your thoughts, actions, so that others will like you. People don’t have to like you, it is your life, your decisions.
Each time you look at yourself deeply in the mirror, you probably might ask yourself, what are the things that keep you going. You can’t find a reason that motivate you to keep on living.
What other feeling could be worse than that?
Alternative conceptions (misconceptions) are not unusual. In fact, they are a normal part of the learning process. We naturally form ideas from our everyday experience, but obviously not all the ideas we develop are correct.
Your entire life is lived through your relationship with yourself. It is the most defining factor in shaping the kind of life you live.
God opens millions of flowers without forcing the buds. It tells us not to force anything, for things will happen in the right time.
You might be sitting in your home, thinking about the things you didn’t accomplish last year.
Others might be worried or stressed out, because they felt they achieved nothing in 2019, and about upcoming challenges, and the uncertainty of the future.
