Examine The Effect You Had On Others Today!

I want you to ask yourself this question:

“What effect do I usually have on others, after an encounter with them?”

We often do things that we do not notice, and hurt other people in minor or little ways, that they may react to differently.

That is why it is very important for us  to pay attention to our little actions, and give consideration to everything from the other person’s perspective. In order to do this, we have to be aware of their reactions and expressions to different issues. If we fail to do this, we might offend them unintentionally.

People are like machines. They will not perform very well if you push the wrong buttons. That is why we need to be mindful of our words and actions towards others.

You may walk into someone’s life, and almost immediately, they will know  nothing but love. You made things better for them, and the bad days seem shorter. The effect you had on them was simply AWESOME..!!

I have encountered some really amazing bloggers on this platform, and the feeling was exhilarating.

Most times, all we really need is a “reminder” of the importance of consideration. Truly, no one is without flaws, but we can always make an effort to leave a positive mark in the lives of others, because that mark may mean everything to them.

  1. Good word. We must always be conscientious of how our actions and decisions affect others. I am reminded of a decision King Saul made that almost cost David everything: Had King Saul destroyed the Amalekites as God commanded in the first place, David would not have felt catastrophe from an enemy who should have already been destroyed. (Side Bar: You never know how your disobedience affects others). Ziglag was burned and pillaged; their losses were great; their loved ones taken captive. The pain was so intense. The text reads, ‘Then David and the people that were with him lifted up their voice and wept, until they had no more power to weep”. (I Sam. 30:4)
